Our Facilities

Our administration building is equipped with a lounge including bathroom with shower, and a kitchen (Click to see pictures) to make owners comfortable when they visit.

The most important facilities are for the horses. We have 2 barns on the property that can house 16 horses. Barn #1 is a 10 stall barn which was completely rebuilt in 2002. It can be configured with 10 – 12’ x 12’ stalls, or 24’ x 12’ stalls can be made for horses requiring total stall rest. (Click to see pictures for barn #1) Barn #2 is a Barn Master, 6 stall barn built in 2003. It has Dutch doors, semi-solid walls, sliding shutters, and cross-ties in each stall. (Click to see pictures for barn #2)

Both barns are built with specialized foundations under the stalls. Graduated size rock and sand layers 3' deep are covered with double layer mats and large flake, kiln dried shavings in each stall. ( Click here to see pictures of foundation )This increases barn drainage, and helps keep the stalls dry and dust-free. Central alleyways are 14’ wide with dust curtains. Screened vents and windows decrease dust, and reduce access to insects, birds, and other "carriers". Thermostatically controlled overhead fans combined with alley way fans, and stall fans maintain a more comfortable barn temperature during the texas summers. A multi-level lighting system is used in the barns along with an automated insect spraying system.

Separate climate controlled feed and tack rooms are provided in Barn #1. (Click to see pictures) This allows feedstuffs to remain fresh and pest-free. Medications and nutriceuticals are stored under refrigeration or in a freezer and dispensed according to individual horse requirements. Also in Barn #1 are stocks and wash area (pictures coming soon). Hay and shavings are stored in buildings outside the barns.

A lighted arena [Click to see pictures], round pen, and open riding fields [pictures] are also available for exercise and turn out.
